New firmware 3.5

A new version of WebHMI 3.5.6600 is available.

Major changes:

  • New element for dashboards: Polyline
  • New demo project: Office building HVAC simulator
  • New color picker
  • Trend control on dashboard now preloads data from graphs log so dashboard loads with data on trends
  • When you edit dashboard in one browser window it will be reloaded automatically in all other opened windows. You can open 2 browser windows side by side, edit dashboard in one and see changes in seconds one immediately.
  • Now you can upload PDF, DOC and other documents and create links to them on dashboards. This allows you to provide any documentation for your system operators.
  • It is possible now to edit recipes from dashboards by operator
  • Demo version of WebHMI is now available as RaspberryPi image
  • Updated WebHMI VitrualBox image
  • Some bugs fixed

  • Each dashboard element how has its own permissions for different roles
  • Now you can change transparency for dashboard elements
  • Graphs data can be exported in HTML format that can be imported in Excel

New firmware 3.3

New version of firmware WebHMI 3.3.6078 available

Major changes:

  • New color themes of the interface. Two themes: light and dark.
  • Improved usability of the registers list table
  • Added registers search
  • Simplified integration with Level2
  • Permissions added to graphs and trends.
  • Now on the Setup – Users page you can see which users are online.
  • Transparent buttons on dashboards are being highlighted when hovering with the mouse.
  • Long text lines in elements of type “Text” on screens are wrapped if they are longer than the specified block width.
  • In the dynamic properties of dashboard elements, a multiplier, shift and limits for the value are added.
  • Comments can be added to alerts in the alerts log.
  • Fix for slow DNS server in Kyivstar 4G network
  • Some headers in the API have been changed for unification

New Firmware 3.2

A new version of the WebHMI firmware 3.2.5823 has been released.

Main changes:

  1. Added second axis on graphs and trends. It has become more convenient to display values ​​in different scales / units of measure on the same graph.
  2. You can draw colored zones to display acceptable values on graphs and trends.
  3. Backups are now stored to SD card. You can restore them directly from the card.
  4. Now it is possible to provide login and password in GET-parameters for automatic log in into the interface.
  5. It became possible to change the Unit Id in connections on the fly from Lua scripts.
  6. User interface runs faster in large projects (several thousand registers).
  7. New elements of dashboards: rectangle, circle, ellipse.
  8. The LED can now be with rectangular angles.
  9. New function GetRecipeById in Lua programs.
  10. The format for specifying register IDs in the GetReg, WriteReg, etc. functions has been changed. Attention! Changes to existing programs may be required.
  11. Added the ability to make libraries in Lua programs for code reuse.
  12. You can add a pop-up window to confirm the action by the operator for the buttons in the dashboards.
  13. Alerts now can be active not only by the value 1 in the corresponding bit, but also by zero.
  14. When you click on the text labels slider its value is now changing.

Smart district heating substation

Do you know what is a district heating substation? It is such an installation that controls the supply of heat to your building.

In Ukraine, the legacy of soviet engineers is still used, and there is no any progress in its automation in the residential sector. Roughly speaking, what the heating plant provides into the pipe is what you will get in your heating radiators. It autumn and spring it is too hot in the rooms so you waste your money with extra ventilation. In the winter low and unstable flow in the pipe can cause to coldness in the room at inexplicable cost. New firmware v 3.1 released

A new version of the WebHMI firmware 3.1.5504 has been released.

Main changes:

  1. Added Polish translation
  2. Added check of Internet connection and correct local time before updating firmware
  3. Now WebHMI flushed all data from WAL files to the main SQLite database
  4. Improved WebHMI log cleanup mechanism
  5. Fixed minor errors in the work of the Comet technology
  6. Fixed bug with sorting current alerts in the Alerts dialog
  7. Grouped TCP connections to the same IP address and port for better work with Modbus TCP gateways
  8. Added UnitID for Modbus TCP connections to the register table view
